About SnapSave
SnapSave is a small, independent project that makes the public side of Snapchat easier to use on the web. We built it because Snapchat's public content, the stories, highlights and Spotlight videos that creators deliberately share with everyone, is hard to browse, revisit or keep outside the app.
What we do
Our tools load a public Snapchat profile on our server and show its public content in a clean, fast page. You can watch it without logging in and save files for personal use. The site runs on Cloudflare's global network, so it is quick wherever you are.
- Snapchat Story Viewer: everything public on one profile
- Story Downloader: today's public story
- Spotlight Downloader: Spotlight videos by link or username
- Profile Viewer: bio, subscribers and content
- Profile Picture Viewer: full-size profile photos
- Highlights Viewer: saved story highlights
What we don't do
We don't offer, and never will offer, access to private accounts, private stories, Close Friends stories or direct snaps. Any site that promises this is either lying or asking you to do something unsafe. We don't ask for Snapchat passwords, we don't sell data, and we don't keep a log of who searched for whom.
Our principles
- Public only. If it isn't public on Snapchat's own website, it isn't on ours.
- Respect creators. Creators can ask us to exclude their profile at any time through the removal page, and we honour copyright notices quickly.
- Privacy for visitors. No sign-ups and no tracking cookies. We use cookieless analytics to count visits.
- Honest guides. Our blog explains how Snapchat features work, based on how the app behaves, without invented statistics.
Independence
SnapSave is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Snap Inc. Snapchat is a trademark of Snap Inc. and is mentioned only to describe what our tools work with.
