Frequently asked questions
Is SnapStorySaver free?
Yes. SnapStorySaver is 100% free to use, with no sign-up, no app install and no limits on how many public stories you view.
Is it anonymous?
Yes. We fetch the public profile page on our server, so the creator never sees your name in their story viewers list.
Can I view private Snapchat stories?
No. We only show content that the creator has made public (Public Stories, Highlights and Spotlight). Private stories and snaps sent to friends are never accessible.
Why does it say no stories were found?
The account may not have a public profile, may have no story posted in the last 24 hours, or Snapchat may be temporarily limiting requests. Try again later or check the spelling of the username.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. The site works in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, tablets and desktop. On iPhone, open the video and use Share → Save Video.
Is SnapStorySaver affiliated with Snapchat?
No. SnapStorySaver is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Snap Inc. Snapchat is a trademark of Snap Inc.
